Musicals

I have written two musicals which have been frequently performed though not yet published. They are as follows:

King Grunt’s Cake

This is for a cast of 6 or 9 adults to perform to a family audience. It lasts about an hour and a half and has lots of songs. There is an optional children’s chorus. It is about the rivalry between a good cook and a bad cook in King Grunt’s palace. My agent, Caroline Sheldon, can supply the script, music and a tape to anyone interested in performing or publishing it.

Pirate on the Pier

This is for a cast of 6 adults to perform to a family audience. It lasts about an hour and a half and has lots of songs. It is the story of a treasure hunt, which starts when a forgetful west-country pirate turns up at a run-down seaside pier populated by eccentric characters. My agent, Caroline Sheldon, can supply the script, music and a tape to anyone interested in performing or publishing it.

Two of my plays, Persephone and  Bombs and Blackberries , both in the plays section, also have songs. These are both suitable for a whole top junior class to act.
