Chack the blackbird is trying to get a message to Apollo the swallow. We follow dolphins, camels and crocodiles, under oceans and through deserts to help get the message across.

There is also an “early reader” version of this title, with illustrations by Martin Ursell.

An earlier picture-book edition of the story with illustrations by Pam Smy is now out of print.
