Tyrannosaurus Drip

Tyrannosaurus Drip

Illustrated by David Roberts

Whoever heard of a vegetarian T Rex? When a baby Duckbill dinosaur ends up in the Tyrannosaurus nest, he feels very out of place, and his gruesome new family nickname him Drip. But this little dinosaur is not as weedy as he looks. In fact, he’s a real hero!

This was the first of my books that David Roberts illustrated, and we had a memorable launch in the Natural History Museum, presided over by a gigantic dinosaur skeleton.

There is also a play version for a whole class to act out, and you can click here to watch Malcolm and me singing the Tyrannosaurus Drip song, which is called “The Wrong Side of the River”. We’ve also made a more professional version of the song, which you can listen to on streaming platforms such as Spotify.
